The fort of Kélibia is visible from almost every rooftop in town. It is the landmark: the closer you get to it, on the port and Mansourah side, the more expensive and seasonal the housing; the further inland you climb, the more it becomes an ordinary town with provincial rents. Three weeks in August or a teaching post transfer, a search for a rental in Kélibia covers both, and this page gathers everything for rent in the delegation, apartments, houses, studios and villa floors.
Listings are posted by private owners from the Cap Bon, agencies in Nabeul and a few diaspora owners managing from abroad. There is no intermediary on our side: you call, you visit, you negotiate.
Holiday rentals in Kélibia: how to read the listings
Holiday renting in Kélibia concentrates on three areas. The El Mansourah seafront, with its beach houses and a few small residences; the port and small beach sector below the fort, livelier; and Azmour, to the north, where isolated villas are let to groups who want the sea without the crowd. Prices are quoted by the week or by the night and climb steeply from mid July to the end of August.
A few habits worth keeping. Ask for dated photos, because plenty of listings recycle images from five years ago. Check the real distance to the beach on a map, since "a stone's throw from the sea" sometimes covers a mile and a half. And pay the deposit against something written, even a simple signed receipt with a copy of the owner's ID card.
Who rents year round in Kélibia, from teachers to remote workers
Out of season, Kélibia has few tenants from elsewhere, and supply follows. Secondary school teachers, transferred civil servants and health workers make up the bulk of demand. Small flats in the centre, around the market square, usually let for between 350 and 550 DT; a villa floor with a terrace in Kélibia Ouest sits closer to 500 to 700 DT.
For a few years now a new category has appeared: remote workers and diaspora couples who settle here six months a year. They look for fibre and a terrace rather than a school, and they push up the price of decent furnished homes. If that is your case, October to March will give you the widest choice.
House or apartment, depending on the season you arrive
For a family summer, the house with a terrace and a garage wins: the full list is on the page for houses to rent in Kélibia. For a single person or a couple staying all year, an apartment in the town centre saves the car and the cost of heating a large house exposed to the wind; see apartments to rent in Kélibia. The market across the rest of the Cap Bon, from Korba to Hammamet, is on the page for homes to rent in the Nabeul governorate.
One thing the regulars know: in Kélibia the good deals do not stay online long, and many owners publish only once a year, in May. Come back regularly from spring onwards rather than staking everything on a search in July.
